Needed better typing for my job - and got it!, July 31, 2009

I recently was hired at a new job, but they wanted me to increase my typing speed by at least 10 WPM. I looked at all of the typing programs and bought this one - not hte cheapest, not the most expensive. I defintly got a bargain though! This program is excellant for the money! I took the typing test at the start - determined what level I should be and then conitnued with the reccomend typing program. by the time i got to the end of the program (it took me about a week - practicing an hour or two a night) my typing speed was up by almost 20 WPM!

It really felt good to print off the results of my WPM and hand them to my boss. I am so happy with this program. and now my wife is starting to use it.

The games are entertaining, and the typing drills, skills and tests are efficient. They can be tedious, but you feel yourself getting better throughout the drill. Don't even bother with other programs, this is the one to get!

I bought this program for my son to learn to type this summer. He was having so much fun, with the games and travel theme - I got hooked. We started an Arcade Score Card - we race each other to see who can post the high game scores. Best news, he started at 15 words per minute - he is up to 50 words per minute.

This typing program is so much fun. It has these themes that you "travel" through as you pass tests so you have a feeling of accomplishment. The lessons are good, if at times a little boring. But my favorite part is the games. You can play games in the lesson plans or - as I prefer - in the Arcade. I can't decide what my favorite game is, but i keep going back to this one called Cliffhanger, i think it is because you can battle against an alien! In the end, my WPM is up at least 10 over when I started. You won't be dissapointed.

the computers look just as bad as what i had to use in high school, except the ones i had to use were even less appealing. maybe if my country spent their money better, we wouldn’t have to use such garbage
